Waiting is Hard, Y'all! Read my Guest Post at the Sparrow Fund!

Writing what's on my heart these days as we wait to bring our sweet girl home!

As a child, I remember the excruciating wait from Christmas Eve to Christmas morning. I would lie awake for what seems like hours wondering how I was ever going to fall asleep and what the morning might hold.

Now as I lie awake at night, gone are the visions of sugar plums dancing in my head. Instead, my heart is on the other side of the world, as I think about my sweet girl who is waiting too. Waiting for a family she can call her own and who will love her forever.

Waiting for an adoption is hard, y'all. When I was young, I thought that one night of waiting for Christmas morning was tough. I had no idea what was to come.

Read the rest of my post {{{HERE}}} on the Sparrow Fund's blog, We Are Grafted In, where I work as an admin.

Additionally, I'd like to share some prayer requests with you.

1. Please be praying for the heart of our sweet girl, Eva, as her world is about to completely change.

2. Please pray for Anthony and Grace as their world is about to change as well.

3. Pray for us as we become a family of five.

4. Pray that the remaining paperwork would come in a timely manner so that we can travel to China on April 17 and have family day on April 20. Based on work commitments, if we can't make those dates, then we will have to wait until mid May. She has been waiting for us for so long and we want to bring her home in God's timing, of course!

Blessings to you all,
