So It's been a while. . . Spiritual and Physical Fitness Check In


I apologize for not checking in last week. I was entrenched in a seven day, eight hours a day, Pilates training, so my brain was full of Pilates. It still is and I love it! It was an amazing week of growth, increase in knowledge and renewed love of Pilates where I made some wonderful friends and found some mentors! I can't wait to begin my journey as a Master Instructor for Peak Pilates.

But on to other things.

How is everyone doing with the Challenge?

I am working hard to limit my sugar intake, workout and spend time daily in the word. I love talking to God daily and meditating on His word, so this has a been a wonderful journey inspiring me with a renewed love for my God.

The book of James always convicts me. In particular, on this read through, I have been thinking a lot our words and their effect on others. As a Pilates Master Instructor, I will be giving feedback, coaching, mentor, training and teaching new Pilates instructors, so in this regard, my words are extremely important. But not just when I teaching Pilates, everywhere I go and everything I say can have impact. My children are listening, my friends, my clients, and even people I don't know. I want my words to be uplifting, encouraging and point people to Christ. I want my whole life to reflect.

"With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings, who have been made in God's likeness." (James 3:9, NIV)
