Enter to Win a Copy of the Darling DVD, The Prodigal Pig

Wow, this has been a busy month, and I imagine it will only get busier. I realized yesterday that I had yet to put up my Tommy Nelson Giveaway this month, so am now frantically scrambling to get this post up. :)

Anthony and Grace loved this cute DVD playing out the story of the Prodigal Son. It portrayed the message of the parable perfectly for children, and as soon as the movie short finished, Grace wanted to watch it again! She said it was her favorite, but I don't know how much weight we can place in that statement since everything she eats, wears, sees, watches, and plays with is her "favorite". LOL! However, she doesn't always ask to immediately watch something again, so that does speak volumes. :) Adam and I both thought it was a cute movie that reinforces that important message of the parable, so we would recommend it for your kids!

  1. I don't know that I've really invested any time in fun ways to show Penelope that we and God loves her always. I think she knows that, but perhaps we'll have to work at making things more interesting.

  2. Hi! Thanks for this opportunity. We tell Lia everyday how much she is loved. At prayer time at night we also give her the chance to say what/who she is thinking of that day. We also read a veggie tales book that has a song with it about how much God loves you and how very special she is!

  4. I don't have very many "creative" ways right now. I try to show them with my actions as a mom and also when we read the bible or listen to worship!
