The Busyness of Life

In today's society, we are so inclined to let the busyness of life distract us from what's really important, our faith and relationship with God and our family. How much time do we actually spend just enjoying fellowship with God and our family. I know there are many times that I am just trying to cross that time off my to do list rather than savor the precious moments we have with our Savior and the family He has given me.

“My son, pay attention to what I say;
turn your ear to my words.
 Do not let them out of your sight,
    keep them within your heart;
for they are life to those who find them
    and health to one’s whole body.
Above all else, guard your heart,
    for everything you do flows from it.
Keep your mouth free of perversity;
    keep corrupt talk far from your lips.
Let your eyes look straight ahead;
    fix your gaze directly before you.
Give careful thought to the paths for your feet
    and be steadfast in all your ways.” (Proverbs 4:20-26, NIV)

As I have been thinking about this and evaluating our life, I have been convicted to spend more time daily with my God, and to take some time, especially this summer, to just have fun with the kids! So, last Wednesday, we took a little time off in the afternoon thanks to Alamo KidSports, Green Vegetarian Cuisine and San Antonio Mom Blogs to just have a little fun! I'll let the pictures weave this story!

As you can see, we had a great time at Alamo KidSports, meeting new friends from San Antonio Mom Blogs!
