Two Less . . . #SpreadtheLove

Valentine's Day has always held a special place in my heart (much to Adam's dismay I adore roses :) ) because of how special my parents made me feel each Valentine's Day. As I look at my two precious children, chosen by God, for our family, I cannot help but think of each day they spent without knowing our love, and then, naturally, my mind goes to all the orphans across the world desperately seeking love.

As we spend time with our families and loved ones this February 14, 2013, join me in lifting up in prayer the orphaned children across the world. My prayer is that they will miraculously know the love of our Father, the one who loves them more than they could ever understand or fathom. I pray that they will feel His arms about them and know that they are loved and cherished by One who is greater than all. I also pray that those who feel the call to adopt will step out in faith and follow that call knowing that God will provide all they need through the long and arduous process.

If you know someone who is called to adopt, take a moment to pray for them and encouragement them. As you walk the adoption road, the prayers, support and encouragement of our loved ones are invaluable and sweet refreshing breeze that lifts up our sometimes drooping sails.

So remember this Valentine's Day that every child deserves to be accepted, to have a family, to be loved.

"I will  not leave you as orphans; I will come to you." John 14:18

  2. Your children are beautiful! :) We are in process with China again, and are hoping to bring home a girl and a boy this time. Having a hard time finding the boy, if you can believe that!
