|Friday Adoption Adventures!|
Welcome to our first Friday Adoption Adventure! Not only has God placed a calling on our lives to adopt, but He has also placed a call on my life to encourage those struggling with infertility, those considering adoption and those walking the long path of adoption.
So after much prayer regarding God's plan for my blog, He placed this idea on my heart. Each Friday, I will share something with you that God has taught (or is teaching) me through the process of receiving and parenting my adopted children.
I would also like to highlight a blog or blog post each Friday that has been a source of encouragement to me. So some of you may hear from me at some point in regard to this!
Also, if I have missed your blog or you have a post God has given you to encourage others, please email me at email@example.com! I would love to read about your journeys and learn from you!!
Finally, I am working on a Blog Button, so keep an eye out for that this coming week!
Now for the fun part! The first official post!
Whenever I think of our journey to adoption, I can't get away from God's provision. He has provided for me in so many ways throughout my life, yet without any praise from me. It took being at the end of my rope regarding how we were going to start a family for my eyes to be opened to the overwhelming and amazing provision of God.
He did not forsake us but brought our children to us in His timing and in His way, which was so much better than my way! :)
He provided every single dollar we needed for each adoption.
He provided us with all prayer, support and encouragement we needed from friends and family.
He provided us with jobs so we could provide a home, food and clothing for our children.
His provision and care for us never ceases to amaze me and today I want to give all the praise and glory to My Father!
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight. " (Proverbs 3:5-6)
"And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." (Phil. 4:19)
I would like to share my dear friend Sharon's blog with you today - she is an amazing wife mother and sister in the Lord, homeschooling her five adoptive children for the glory of God. We were blessed to meet them while in China, so we have a special bond. Check our her blog, Everything Beautiful, for great homeschooling ideas, encouraging words and lots of cuteness!
Blessings to all as you seek God's will for your life!
