Paperwork in the Mail

Over the past several days, we mailed off several things.  I put the immigration paperwork in the mail on Friday.  According to our case worker, it has been taking about 60 days for USCIS to process adoption paperwork.  I am not holding my breath for 60 days; it is the Federal Government after all. :)  It is in God's hands now.

Yesterday we mailed Adam's birth certificate to the Chinese Consulate in Chicago for authentication and about 10 documents to the Secretary of State of Texas for authentication.  Thus the waiting process begins . . .

I am also trying to work loan applications and various other things needed to complete the Dossier for China.
We would appreciate your prayers a smooth and speedy process.

Thanks so much for all your prayer support!

  1. Good luck! I know how tedious it can be - we were just DTC for our 2nd SN adoption from China on 5/14. We've got a 9 year old waiting for us in Guangzhou...
